Data sources and measurement methods
Website and digital edition measurement
Clicks on banner links are tracked through the records for the relevant link.
Google Tag Manager is used to manage measurement tags on the website and in digital editions. Page view and link click events in the digital edition are sent to Google Tag Manager.
Email campaign measurement
Email campaign data comes from Mailcoach campaign records. Send counts refer to email sends recorded by the system; unique opens refer to recorded unique open events; and link clicks refer to clicks on links within the email.
Email list size is a separate measure and refers to the number of addresses recorded in the relevant list.
Text versions and technical access
Markdown versions of pages are identified through HTML and HTTP links. The text/markdown media type identifies the text format; the alternate relation points to the alternative version, and describedby points to its explanatory guide. The llms.txt file brings together publication information and content paths.
The scope of this setup is to provide content in text form and identify how the corresponding versions can be discovered.
